Manilla
Manilla is located on the north-west slopes of the Great Dividing Range.
A small rural community with wheat growing, mixed farming, wool and cattle.
The town has two rivers - Namoi River and Manilla River and fishing is enjoyed by many locals and visitors.
The weir at Chaffey Park beside the river provides a great place for families to relax and enjoy the barbecue and picnic facilities.
Manilla is also a well known location for hang-gliding enthusiasts, hosting the world championships in 2007.
For a walk back in history, the Manilla Heritage Museum is well worth a visit.
